Global Sportswear Brand - Internal Sustainability Workshop with speakers from different parts of the business throughout the day. This example features day-of sketching with studio finish.
Medieval Festival La Sauve (France), the final project for my Illustrated Reportage certificate sketched and painted both on-site and in-studio, written by me.
'A Time to Sprout Again' - Personal memoir about self-care and mental health using a little olive tree as a natural metaphor. Digital hand illustrated.
For the last four years I’ve been getting to know my charming local region of the Netherlands by plein-air sketching its daily comings-and-goings, and idiosyncratic features. I develop these sketches into hand cut paper artworks that underpin Riverland Arts Co., an art, gift & stationery brand with the spirit of the region. I'm currently offering a seasonal print club and online store, check out www.Riverlandarts.co
Lamb•Bunctious
Life is a playground for each year’s new lambs. It’s hilarious to watch the rambunctious newcomers racing across the pastures with each other. Mama sheep are important fixtures of the games—a safe ‘base’ during tag, a climbing toy to practice jumping on, and a shady snack break.Staart of Spring
The reappearance of breeding songbirds to our backyard signals the arrival of spring. One of our favorite guests is the Staartmees (Long-tailed tit). They have a curious and playful disposition, fluttering around our window frames and perching among the magnolia branches, bright eyes shining as if admiring the early spring blooms.Morning Crocuses
Just as the days start to lengthen, unassuming crocuses peek out between blades of frosty grass. I love to see them bundled up in their petals against the morning cold and unfurl later in the afternoon sun.Featuring a live watercolor sketch from Sauve, FR, and two locations in Utrecht, NL, with special significance for my client.
